Not Just Soccer

Summary: I had the opportunity to interview Yekeson Subah on my podcast this week. He is a professional soccer player who is so dedicated. I was able to learn more about him and how he has got to where he is today. I want to share what I learned and the highlights of what he talked about.

Yekeson is my little sister's boyfriend who is an amazing person. He lifts those up around him and always strives to be a good person. During the interview I asked him about why he plays soccer, how others can follow their dreams and what his goals are.

From a young age he has always played soccer. He has always been blessed to have support from others to help him achieve his dreams. Soccer to him is more than just a hobby or a game it is a lifestyle and he is extremely passionate about it. He encourages others to follow their dreams and work hard like he has. Yek believes that everyone has a purpose and the only thing stopping you from achieving it is yourself. I agree with that 100%. When you become dedicated to something and want to achieve goals you will be able to achieve them.

Yek has many goals but his main ones are to become a professional soccer player in Europe and become a pediatrician. Those are both goals that will take a lot of hard work and dedication.

I believe that if you are dedicated to your goals and you constantly work on them one day they will become a reality. Today I challenge you to write down a few of your goals that you have that you want to accomplish this week, month, quarter and year. Once you have them written down, create a plan on how you will achieve them.
